Mark Bernardini | Push marketing & promotions NY/NJ promotional models are “zombified” to promot

PUSH Marketing & Promotions NY/NJ’s promotional models incited some “waking nightmares” for the attendees of the annual Comic Con convention in San Diego by producing a small army of monsters, witches, warlocks and zombies to stalk, haunt and terrorize the 2014 attendees including AMC’s The Walking Dead booth.

San Diego, CA., August 11, 2014 — PUSH Marketing and Promotions NY/NJ was in charge of providing teams of promotional models and trade show staff for many different booths and street team activations for several top entertainment companies including Anchor Bay Entertainment, Lifetime TV, TNT, A&E and WGN America; however one of the most challenging and memorable experiences was having a team of PUSH Brand Ambassadors transform themselves into the lifeless, meandering and flesh-starved “Walking Dead” zombies (simply referred to as “Walkers” on the show) encamped at the AMC’s Terminus booth. The five-day event was promoting the upcoming fifth season of “The Walking Dead”, which kicks off Sunday, October 12 at 9 p.m. on AMC. Over the past two seasons, “The Walking Dead” has secured a place in television history by being the most watched ever show on cable television.“Comic Con is one of the most challenging, yet fun and rewarding events that we do every year.”, stated PUSH Marketing & Promotions NY/NJ owner Mark Bernardini. “We have to transform so many of our promotional models and event staff into extreme-looking and acting characters, and teach them the characteristics, movements and mindsets required to skillfully execute their respective roles. Ultimately our entire team of zombies, monsters and otherworldly creatures did an amazing job as everyone fully committed to their characters and our clients were very pleased with their performances.”The “zombified” PUSH promotional model team was a main attraction at AMC’s booth, relentlessly stalking and terrorizing fans that were visiting the booth that recreated the characters’ arduous journey to the mysterious “Terminus” that occurred throughout season 4. The crowds at “The Walking Dead” booth proved once again why it is one of the most popular and highly anticipated booths at Comic Con every year. Adding to the intrigue and atmosphere, monitors outside the booth played key scenes and compelling moments from season 4, as well as providing an exclusive sneak peak of the upcoming season 5.50 extremely lucky fans were also selected as winners of “The Walking Dead” panelist autograph signing raffle. On Friday, July 25th the winners had their autograph cards signed by several of the stars from the show including including Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira and several others. Fans were treated to a photo opportunity feeding a “rat” to the ravenous Walkers at Terminus, shrine of lost loved ones at the show. The Walkers also made a surprise appearance at the Terminus BBQ which was hosted by AMC at The San Diego Hilton Gaslamp on Friday, July 25th and Saturday, July 26th where show fans had the opportunity to “tweet to eat” and take a “selfie” next to the Terminus map. While the Walkers are undeniably dead, the army of obsessed “The Walking Dead” fans are certainly alive and well, and living in eager anticipation of the new season coming this October.About PUSH Marketing and Promotions NY/NJ: PUSH is one of the fastest growing live marketing and event staffing agencies in the nation with 9 offices across the country and 50,000 professional, experienced and attractive brand ambassadors, promotional models and event staff.
